How We Help Taylor
Domestic Violence Shelter
We provide safe, confidential emergency shelter for people escaping domestic violence. If you or someone you know needs a safe place, reach out to us. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available 24/7 at 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788.
Shower Center
Every other week, we offer free access to hot showers and clean bathrooms, a simple necessity that restores comfort, health, and dignity. Every 1st & 3rd Sunday from 2pm - 4pm
Cooling Center
When temperatures climb above 100°F for an extended period of time, we open a cool place to rest, rehydrate, and escape the dangerous heat. Water is available, and everyone is welcome.
Warming Center
When a freeze warning is issued in Taylor, we open a warm, safe place for anyone who needs shelter from the cold. Check our website and social media for opening announcements.
