About Shelter Taylor

Shelter Taylor is a nonprofit dedicated to serving people experiencing homelessness in Taylor, Texas. Founded by local volunteers, we provide safe places and essential services for neighbors who need them most, and we work to connect them with the help available across our community.

Our programs include cooling centers during summer heat, warming centers during winter cold, shower services twice a month, and safe emergency housing for survivors of domestic abuse. When crises or natural disasters strike, we work to make sure our unhoused neighbors are not left behind.

We partner with churches, volunteers, local businesses, and other Williamson County organizations so that resources reach the people who need them, without confusion or duplication.
